Makes a nice clamping surface so an air filter can be used on Amal Mk1 and certain Monobloc carburetors. Some adaptor rings are aluminum alloy, some are steel. Most of the steel rings are NOS, and the plating is not perfect.

This aluminum-alloy adaptor fits the standard 2" Amal bolt pattern, and has a straight 40mm-o.d. spigot. The i.d. is 30mm. Use with our rubber coupler to mount Amal MkII or Mikuni carburetors. Also available in angled, 32 and 34mm i.d. versions by special-order.

These adaptor plates bolt-on to an existing head or manifold which was originally intended for an Amal carburetor. The Mikuni rubber flange then bolts to this plate, allowing Mikuni or Amal MkII spigot-mount carburetors to be used. The small plate adapts a 2" stud spacing for 26-34mm carbs; the large plate adapts 65mm spacing to 36-38mm carbs.
